Jacqueline Au is a creative visionary within the bridal space, who reimagines the modern bride with a high-fashion sensibility. A former fashion buyer, she started her career at the storied houses of Celine and Givenchy, and honed her taste at the luxury department store Lane Crawford. In 2017, she launched The LOFT Bridal as her unique vision of what bridalwear could be, bringing in labels as high fashion and directional as Giambattista Valli , Viktor & Rolf Mariage, Vivienne Westwood, and more.

Her own wedding was featured in Vogue Australia, in which she wore a Giambattista Valli Couture gown that allowed her to see the potential of wedding fashion, inspiring her to launch The LOFT Bridal as her first entrepreneurial venture.

A contributing editor for Vogue Hong Kong, she is a dreamer and a go-getter in equal measure, who continually expands upon the vocabulary of bridal with the launch of her namesake label, showcasing her unwavering creativity and standout aesthetic.

Since its inception in 2017, The LOFT quickly made its mark as a class of its own in the industry, winning awards as one of the best bridal boutiques in the region and catching the eyes of nearly all the local and international fashion titles including acclaimed international publications, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, & Monocle as the “go-to bridal boutique” for an experience that delves far beyond the expected.

Named by Vogue HK as “The Style Maven for Modern Brides,” The LOFT Bridal is reshaping the bridal landscape as we know it, injecting a fresh perspective into the market with its bold edit of wedding gowns, and a personalized experience for the fashionistas at heart who want to make a bold statement about their personal style on their wedding day.

The bridal world doesn’t need any more of the same. It is a philosophy The LOFT deeply share and imbue within everything we do – from working with bridal designers who push the boundaries to photographers with a sharp editorial eye, we show wedding dresses through a new lens offer a refreshing experience that modern brides have been waiting for.

As an arbiter of style, Jacqueline Au joined the family of Vogue HK as a contributing editor in 2022, bringing a high-fashion and design-focused take on bridal and lifestyle to the fashion bible.

She has always been a truly believer in dreaming big and pushing the boundaries and it is this crazy, obsessive creative passion that drives her through to this evolution of her career, a complementary extension to her work at LOFT, showcasing bridal and fashion through a fresh, inspired lens.
